News from the Wilkinson Lab

September 2022: "DOC, grazers, and resilience of phytoplankton to enrichment" is published in Limnology & Oceanography Letters, co-authored by Grace.

September 2022: Tyler receives the ESA Aquatic Best Student Talk Award for his presentation "Aquatic ecosystem response to nutrient loading disturbances mediated by benthic-pelagic coupling" in Montreal in August.

August 2022: Ellen's "Sediment phosphorus composition controls hot spots and hot moments of internal loading in a temperate reservoir" is published in Ecosphere, co-authored by Grace. 

June - August 2022: The CFL Community Water Monitoring Network is launched, led by Helen.

July 2022: Ellen's "High Inter- and Intra-Lake Variation in Sediment Phosphorus Pools in Shallow Lakes", co-authored by Grace, former MS student Quin, and former Research Specialist Rachel, is published in JGR Biogeosciences.

May 2022: Members of the lab attend and present at the 2022 Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

April 2022:
Ellen Albright receives her PhD in Freshwater and Marine Sciences from UW-Madison.

April 2022: Grace is named an Early Career Fellow (2022-2026) with the Ecological Society of America.

February 2022: Former postdoc Eric's "Eutrophication-driven eco-evolutionary dynamics indicated by differences in stoichiometric traits among populations of Daphnia pulicaria", co-authored by Tyler, Grace, and former Research Specialist Rachel, is published in Freshwater Biology.

February 2022: Grace's "No evidence of widespread algal bloom intensification in hundreds of lakes" is published in Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment.
